Simon has been actively engaged within the Middle East for more than 24 years, having established CBRE operations and led the advisory and capital markets business across UAE and KSA. He is currently the CEO of Avison Young. He sits on several regional investment committees and advises local and regional investors, both private and institutional.

Simon has been involved in more than US$20bn of advisory and consulting assignments across the GCC and more than US$1.25bn of acquisition/disposal mandates. He has acted as expert witness for multiple real estate disputes including High Court cases in the UK and sits as independent advisor to the oversight committees of two regionally listed REITs.
